Home sweet Home 2 : Where to find it?

So my little ones, I already explained about how London is divided and how different parts of London are different.
Now I want to help you out with where to find flats, houses etc.
First of all where most people would start their search is http://www.gumtree.com
It is a website where you can pretty much find anything. It can be very useful to find jobs as well, I found my summer job. When you are looking for a place to live choose Flats & Houses and for rent. Then put in all of your preferences like city e.g. London prices per week private or through agency.
I would recommend to try to do it private, that means that you are directly renting from the landlord.
If you choose agency then you will have to pay an agency fee later for their work. As much as I know that should be more safe, but all of my friends who have rented directly through landlords were satisfied and did not find much difference from working with an agency, only the agency fee was the difference.
Also always check all the adds, some of them are fake!!!! If you contact the person who is offering the place and he is not in the country right now or he cannot meet you but you can still transfer him the money then is a LIE!!!!!!

This websites have the cheapest flats that you could find. All of the others websites that I looked at have nice flats but they are  a bit expensive. If you have the money to live in a nicer place I highly recommend that. Flats/houses in London are probably nothing that you are used to. In Estonia most of the flats are the same but not here. Because its a big city there are a lot of not so good places but they are cheap but then problems like broken boilers may occur
Always be careful and double check everything If you have friends who already live here ask them because maybe they can actually recommend someone. Looking for a place to live may take a while so don't give up and keep going.
You can also find Flat Shares , it means basically someone is already living in a flat or house and someone moved out of the accommodation and they have a spare room. If you don't mind living with strangers then it could work for you, and perhaps those strangers can become one of your best friends.
If you are looking for some one to live in a spare room that you have then you can  post an add on those websites managed above. If you find people who would like to live with you always interview them. See if you like them, don't just go with the first choice.
